Maybe ember or neon tetras? smalland easy to buy back if he does eat them. awesome fish!

They are compatible, but I wouldn’t mix them. Puffers need to be catered to so much, and German rams need very specific needs with temp and params. I would do Bolivians, much hardier and would better conform to the puffer’s needs.

If infact it is, maybe 2 Half-banded Spiny Eels, or a pair of semi-aggressive cichlids like Lionhead Cichlids? Maybe a few Congo Tetras and a half banded spiny eel?

Definitely 2 more puffers if budget allows.
Spinies would be cool and have the same diet.

I wouldn’t do congo tetras though. It is doable, but they seem too mean to be with slow movers in less than a shoal of 10+ and under 55 gallons. I’d hate to see a common $10 tetra be responsible for the death of a rare $200 puffer.

Thank you I do plan on getting more this weekend and yes it is the fluval flex 32 I am thinking I will go with 2 doing eels a small group of Bolivian rams and some lion head cichlids I will keep you guys updated in the new puffer
