If it works it works. I don't like how people tell other people how they can set up fish tanks. How do you know if yummy don't try it if it don't work out then sell the fish or put in a different tank

if he's gonna do it anyway then why ask?

Right I agree that's y I don't ask people on here. Some of them are crazy when it comes to keeping the wrong fish together. You wont know unless you try.

when people say you shouldn't do it then it will not work for most of the time, so if you have money and time to waste then try it!

but these forums are here so people can learn from each other and from others' experiences. if those with experience can say that it's not a good combo, if the OP (or a hypothetical poster) is smart, they will take that into consideration. granted, you can't listen to everyone on the forums, but we're pretty decent with the info on the gar forum. the whole "you won't know unless you try" doesn't reflect a responsible approach to keeping these fishes, especially when there is well-established precedent that it's not a good idea.

time and again the many experienced folks will chime in and say don't do it, but a couple people who had it work or have had it work for 1 month, 2 months, etc (even a year can be a bad sample period) will say go for it...people are looking to be the exception and not the general rule. why post at that point--

he remind me of something like this: "if you jump off a tall building, you can fly!" And you will never know if you don't try!

Just wanted to see what most people had to say, I know all fish are different and that there temperament changes with age, and what works for one tank may not work for another, its just good to get a incite into it and see what the jar forum has to say. Thanks to all
