Spotted gar+polypterus senegalus=?

I have a 16" florida gar with with a 9" delhezi; the gar shows no interest in the del....I think it's cause I feed the gar 2 whole shrimps a day....

This is good information...I'm thinking of picking up a spotted gar that's at my lfs and I was wondering if he would go after my bichir. Thanks for the info guys...saved me a new thread.
