is an african arowana a suitable one? if not, what would be? other tankmates would be a clown knife and a tigrinus cat. tank will be 8x3x2 ft, 360 gallons, if they get too long, they can be relocated to an indoor pond. thanks

I know I've seen that called a bad combo around here but it seems like it would depend on the cat...you'd think medium cats like big synodontis, sun cats, etc would work, but I definitely think the monster cats that are popular aound MFK (redtails, TSN, etc) would be a bad choice.

a tig only gets to about 2 feet, nothing like the rtc, they dont move that much as to where a rtc is very active. i could replace with LSN? but an LSN is only a few inches short of a tig at adult size, although they are alot less expensivedemjor19;2240905; said:One of the main things you have to watch with big catfish, is that they will try to eat things their own size...sometimes even larger.
