My little spotted gar is doing awesome! He's downing rosie's and platies like a champ. Hasn't taken fd krill, pellets, or even shrimp yet 
. But he's still young, so I'll give him some time.
I'm basically keeping feeders in the tank so that he can eat whenever he wants. He's fat 100% of the time
. He's so unlike the small shortnose gars I got from Journeykc, he's so chill in comparison. The shortnose are still pretty skittish, but he doesn't seem bothered by me looking in the tank or poking around in it at all. I even touched his back while he was hovering just beneath the surface, and all he did was slowly move away.
