Spotted Gar YOY growing really fast

Can't be longnose. Only gars in the pond when they spawned were spotted gars.

Those are some of the longest noses i've ever seen on florida/spotteds ever.

Their still juvies, plus wild caught spotters tend to have longer noses (pond is considered wild caught due to the amount of space)

I'm pretty sure when they get thicker they will look similar to his one.

Unfortunately I lost this one along with 2 smaller during the ridiculous temp drop back in march this year.

some of them do have really long snout but not all of them, some of them might even have shorter snout than short nose gar.

Which would be true for a very large population of wild caught spotteds. I'm not saying there isn't spotters with shorter snouts but for the majority of wild caught population the snouts are longer

maybe it only true for some area, down south they seem to have pretty short snout for most of them. But this we might need Solomon to confirm it cuz I can only see what is around me.
