yup, spotted gar (Lepisosteus oculatus). it's even given away in the title of the video - geographically, it HAS to be a spotted gar (assuming it's wild, which it is) since it's in LA. FLG's are relegated to FL and parts of georgia (naturally-occurring wild populations) and several escapes scattered here and there throughout the US.--
