I have two spotted gar since they were just 4 inches... now they're in a 100g tank and around a foot each but now one of them is starting to take snaps at the other ones fins and the one that is taking the damage looks like his scales are flaking off... its kind of brownish on him. I have nooo clue what to do I cant afford to separate them right now because if I used a storage container I would have to filtrate it and I don't have the money right now for that. Please help

leave about 10pieces of feeder goldfish in it. when it feel full, it shouldn't go around disturbing other fishes. or you can buy a partition. just a piece of acrylic to seperate them will do. are they a pair? or both the same gender?
