Spray Paint and Acrylic

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I paint cars and we have a guy who does vinyl wraps for cars. I've seen him install and remove vinyl with minimum effort....i would second the vinyl. It should be pretty simple to put on an aquarium with no curves. And the best part is it should just peel off no problem if you change your mind or decide to sell the aquarium down the road.

When googling, that is what I mostly found and saw as appealing. I just need to research them a bit more.

Now that one I couldn't tell you since I only paint. I can try to get in touch with him if I can. But I would Google companies that apply vinyl to vehicles and ask what they use.

I used Oracal 651 on a couple tanks. Got it on Amazon. Spray the acrylic/glass with water, apply the vinyl sticky side down, then squeegee the water out. Just take your time and/or get some help applying it. Wrinkles and air pockets are really noticeable.
