spraying my fishtank

You're so very brave to attempt it inside. Cover every surface, even ones you wouldn't imagine that you would need to. Spray paint drifts through the air and travels much further than you would imagine. Good luck.

If painting it inside is a must, why not just roll it on with black latex? It looks the same and comes off easy if you change your mind.

+2

I wouldn't want to get over spray on everything.

i already have the spray n i have a bunch of old shower curtains. and painters rolling paper. (kinda like thin cardboard) imside isnt so much of what i am worried about.

I'm going to repeat the warning about covering EVERYTHING. Spray paint can drift 30 feet inside with no wind to break it up. The latex idea is much better. It'll work out to be real similar in price, and work MUCH better. You can roll it on or brush it on. Rolling would work best.

Even with covering things in your house, I wouldn't be surprised for you to see a gradient of paint on the carpet going out from the tank, or outlines of furniture on the walls behind them. It happens. Quite often. I would NOT spray paint ANYTHING in my house. . .

rollon has better results imo...i did the spray and regretted it. Spend the 5 dollars for the paint and roll it on, you wont be sorry. (btw, i got overspray all over the place like was mentioend above)

had a little over spray on the tile but cleaned up with water. came out FRESHHH!!!!!!
