I've shot an XD 9mm and it was nicer to me than a Glock 40 (feel, not talking about the obvious recoil diferences), but I don't like the polymer feel overall. I just got a Kimber a couple months ago and absolutely love it.

lol told ya everthing is GONE! too many people freaking out cause of the new president so everything is selling out and prices are going up. the laws arent gonna change for a long time, and when they do, regular guns like shotguns, rifles, and handguns wont even be affected. what you gotta worry about is the cool stuff like so-called assault weapons. i got mine already, so im happydeangelo;2437978;2437978 said:
Gun inventories are very low now. If you want a gun, and want it now. Take a look at cdnninvestments.com. They always have killer deals on police trade-ins. If the Glock is still an option, you should be able to get one from them for just a few hundred dollars.
Have tons of xd's here in texas. I work at a sporting goods store one day a week to get the employee discount. They sell fast and are a great gun, but we have plenty of em.
Taurus is nice for the money. Not a gun I'd put 10,000 rounds though a year, but even it something does happen, they are one of the few with a lifetime warranty. Plus one year membership to nra is nice. the millenium pro is a great little carry gun and available in 9mm 40 and 45. fun fun fun

Kimber FTW! That is my next handgun for sure. My dad has 2 Kimbers, ones a single and the other is a double stack .45 and they are great to shoot. He has a replacement barrel for one of them so you can shoot .22LR out of it as well.
I talked to a local shop a week ago. They had sold out on all their AR lowers and most semi-auto rifles. But he said that the handgun market was essentially unchanged. I'm not worried.
