The male is now out so I'm just waiting on the last female. I'm not exactly sure where she's buried though.

Seth, look into these. Very quite(sound suppressed out of a rifle) and a decent pattern(not great though) at 25 feet and will prob not even reach 20 yards. Walmart carries them for $4.50 for 20. Expensive for .22 but great rounds. i use them out of my pistol for crows and the range sucks and they are super loud. but out of my buddys rifle they whisper and pattern decent. Or the pellet gun but im sure that would travel farther

Or find the nest and cover. Id luv an offspring

I'm very familiar with .22 birdshot. It's so useless you can't even kill birds with it unless they're about 5 feet away. I live in a development so I will not be firing any bullets what so ever. But if I need to thin the herd I will be using my 1200 ft. per second pellet gun.
