Here is a pic of the gachua tank you asked for. The male looks ready to blow soon so ill get pics of him when he does or just before he does so he doesnt freak and swallow the fry. This is his first batch with the new lady in the tank.

I know its dirty but this is what works with gachuas... i dont do waterchanges do fill in when there is evaporation.
There are two caves in there. One for him and her lots of plant cover and just a sponge filter for gas exchange and bio build up. Its a 20 standard

nice thanks for posting up those pics. you dont do water changes? Just top offs? How big is that tank? I can't believe you got them to breed. I change 5% song pretty much every day. Chance of putting up pics of the mum and dad?

theyve paired up so i only do top offs now.... if i do water changes they stress out and dad will most likely swallow eggs

I agree with the low water change theory for channa. My assams bred in a tank where I do changes with much less frequency than my other tanks. It was filled with fast growing plants to suck up the nitrates instead.
