Found these little guys wandering about after yesterday's storm.Must have lost their mother after their nest fell.Are these rat babies or squirrel babies?

Hard to tell it's just getting it's fur. I'd guess squirrel. A week more and you'd be better able to tell.
I used to breed rats and I can tell you it’s definitely a rat baby. A squirrel baby will have the tail furred up since the rest of the body has fur already. And a squirrel baby will be much bigger.

Yeah mine made nests out of newspaper shreds id provide. Pretty resourceful. If you’re planning on raising them up, dog food is a decent food option that most people already have on hand. You can start by softening a couple kibbles with water until the eyes open and the teeth grow strong enough.
Update : she came back

My cat brought home a alive rat pup after the cat snuck out of the house. It looked very similar to that
