SR and XB update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have been trying to get them to eat NLS but they only eat shrimp stuffed with pellets. I tried the superworms and my fish got super fat and wouldn't eat anything else. Xb used to be a great eater until I used superworms. SR will eat hikari pellets but they are no longer avail. in Cananda, and I'm almost out, so I have to try to get him on something else. Shrimp is the only thing they'll both eat.

The crossback is looking fat. But do regular partial water change for it for I feel the shine can be improved further by doing so.;)

The red look longish and skinny. Try to feed it more.;)

Red is a fussy eater. Xb is in a temporary tank until my 360 gallon acrylic arrives in the next couple of weeks. The 230 gallon is on an automatic water change system. It gets 50 gallons of fresh water per day. The 360 will get about 75 gallons per day. I'll post pics when I get eveything up and running.

The XB is in a 180 gallon with a stingray. I try to change 40% every 4-5 days. Just had a 100% water change because I had to move his tank to make room for the 360 gallon.

I guess youre unhappy with the fish then, thats too bad
Not unhappy. I feel very lucky to own 2 of these guys. I have been blessed. To own 1 of these guys was a dream come true. To be able to own 2 is really remarkable.

Thanks everyone for your comments good or bad. Congratulations Blackhawks!

I really like your Red combi with the Loaches, nice tank set up...

Thanks. Its a very simple set-up. I used to rearrange my tanks every couple of weeks but this one has been this way for several months now. I've had a lot of compliments on how good it looks from friends and family and my www family so I've kept it like this.
