You think this 7 inch SR has good potential to actually color itself in 1 to 2 years? Or should i trade it now?20180414_220417.jpg 20180414_220416.jpg 20180414_220256.jpg 20180414_220417.jpg

Having read about red Arowanas, what I understand is it takes around minimum 4 to 5 years to color up in red. Before that they go through yellow and orange coloration on their scales. And Caroteine rich food and health is influencing parameters.

Beautiful red by the way. Congrats!

Thanks for the advice. Im trying to train it with pellets as of the moment. I have been starving it for a week already.

way too small to tell....most aros don't start to show potential or colours until they get about 14 to 18" unless they are truly AAA grade and as juvies, they show more potential already...but those fish you wll be paying a huge premium for reds/xbacks in that tier...
