Very nice, wow. A lot of red on these 2. With the slanted divider, does the male ever hurt himself on the edge? I've never seen this technique before, only the cutout hole.
It's hard to tell in the picture, but I have sanded every edge on that divider. All the holes have been sanded. It actually took a while and tires your hand out, but I wanted to be sure it wouldn't cut either of them. The technique works great. Once the female figures it out,they know where to go for cover. Works well with Flowerhorns if they have a big kok because they just don't fit lol.
Thanks everyone else for the compliments. There are a few dead ones nothing major. I have divided the male and female and left her with the eggs. If I get fry, they will both be taken out and I'll grow them out in the 75 they are in, but no black dots yet. Tomorrow morning is the 48 hour mark so I'll let you guys know if the eggs were fertilized.
