I sold it and all of my fish/tanks. No more fish for camshaft. Not even a betta...

This was him just before I sold him. HIs color is really dull in the vid. I had just moved him into that tank and the stress plus lack of background faded his colors.

correction on your post.....

Red Texas (RT) are those texas that have some (SRT) bloodline. Either cross from parrot x texas, srt x rt and so forth. Basically these had not faded and still have blue color without no orange or red. 50/50 chance of fading and sometime dont fade at all.

As for Super Red Texas (SRT) are for all those that have orange, red, and anything beside blue. These are fading or fully faded.

Good example are Dragon Ball Z cartoon:

Sayan has black hair
Super Sayan is gold :)

Ah my computer is acting crazy, now I have to type this explanation over again. Basically bro your synopsis is totally wrong. Please do more research.

I would like to add: there's no such thing as srt. It's either faded or not, nice or not. RT that's it.

He say she say had led you guys to confusion. "super" is used in the market for sales on those ignorant ones who get attracted to names too much. Or it can be applied to a fish by its owner to make the fish sound special.

RT is the fish. Super is a nice way to describe what you feel about it. Those so called srts you posted Musha are super nice RTs or srts as a second name. They are high quality. "RT" is the foundation of the name. SRT is a second name for one that a person think is super nice. They can be called srt to sound cool but they are rts.

I've never heard of this explanation for RT. I know this to be true in the Flowerhorns category however the breeders classify RT/FH in two different categories. This is not a name that Im making up, this is a name that I gather from their place of origin and this is how they are classified in Thai. They are the originators, so I go by thier standard. I would hate to be an American baseball player who orginated the sport and tell me that I should classify a "homerun" as a "foul". So once again Im not sure where your getting your info from, however this is how it was presented to me.

My fish is an RT. But some call it srt including the seller. So what? It is what it's suppose to be. And thanks for calling him super.
Some other ppls fish look so poor and their fish are called srt, even by their sellers. So what? You guys dont wanna be in that mess because that's just an opinion. Like those srts posted above. and I agree they are super. And those are the RTs that represent the fish.. All the faded ones are suppose to be RTs. More or less, lil better, much better, whatever you feel about that red texas. It's Red texas. Some poor quality, some high quality.

but I do wish ppl do categorize them like you did Musha. That way I see what I expect. But they dont! So "Super" doesnt matter. it's only an opinion.

I understand where coming from, but as I said before I talk the words straight from the horses mouth. There for I call it how I see it.

you've heard of King kamfa right? So then you'll see "SUPER" king kamfa. You've heard of Kamalau right? Then you might have heard of "SUPER" kamalau. You've heard of red dragons and youve heard of "SUPER" red dragons. But do they really show superness? Good and bad all tried to fit in the best name bro. RT, then throw a "SUPER" on it to make it sound hardcore. That's about it. Doesnt matter what they present to you. Just because they are the originator, dont mean you have to listen to everything they say to you. You are the buyer, they are the seller. How's that?

Low quality, or good quality. Still it's an RT. Super RT is just like all other FHs. it's a marketing tactic to get those who believe in names of these man made fishes.

And I agree with the way you categorized them. Fit very well with them. But everyone got different opinions and standards in all different fishes and some like to get crazy with it and it gets all funny. So.....

So based on your categorization looks like Camshaft's fits as a RT. His fish fits in the middle of both RT & SRT to me. to him and others, they think it's Super, so they call it SRT. So who can say right or wrong, where it belongs or which it is? Mine too. I think mine fits somewhere in the middle too. So who gonna OFFICIALLY label the ones in between? It's like one to a million dollars. Low dollars and high dollars. Theyre all dollars. I dont know if anyone can understand me but I tried. Base it on RT.

Still disagree. I have heard of King Kamfa aka King of Kamfa. LOL So Im not understanding what your saying. "Kamfa" is a strain, so is "Kinga Kamfa". Once again as I previously stated, Thai people dont even consider RT and FH in the same category so why would you follow the same guidelines. I have never heard of "Super" KML, and SRD is only speaking in reference to the depth of the red in the fish. Anywho it doesnt matter to me, Im putting my thoughts and the way I was taught out there. I understand what you mean about the way they classify fish, however "Super Red" is just that. There's no way to mistake it. There are too many pink and orange Texas to be called super red, so I classify them as just that. Super Red...

Well whatever this is not a arguement, I understand what your trying to say bro I really do, but Im sticking with my guns on this one. RT is the base fish, as long as the fish is "Super Red" In comparison to the majority of Orange and Pink I will continue to classify it as an SRT bro. Sorry.

(without reading everyones explanations) For me, if I see blue or it's such a pale orange, it's practically white, it's an RT.
And if there's no blue and the color isnt a faded white orange, it's an SRT. (also, pearls play a small roll) But that's me and my generalized look at it. I don't force it on anyone. These are hybrids...

When it comes to Hybrids, there's so many different views on names, categories, standards, etc, to so many different people. I dont really worry about that stuff. Is it sexy? If you were a fish, would you hit it? Buy it. Who cares what other people call it or classify it as. (unless your into showing. Then I guess you might have to classify it..)

Here's a video of my SRT, a bit younger, when he was in his tank, for color reference. In the previous video I showed, He was hella faded out from stress.

IMO this vid shows off his color, while the previous vid shows off his fins and pearls. So take a mix of the two vids, I guess..
