ST dat ID

First off, I said it's not a true ST. Secondly I said it could be Indo, or CT and that there's no way to 100% confirm it like you can with a true ST tail marking. So all we are doing is guessing. So is it right to sell a fish not knowing exactly what it is and labeling it as and ST? I think not. I think the seller should advise people that it's possibly this and it's possibly that so they know up front. There are many new people that don't know about these fish and will buy just off a name and I don't think it'd fair. It would be like posting a pic of a silver arro and selling it as an Asian for 1200.00. Some newb might fall for it. That's all I'm saying. I just think it should be out in the clear.
In my opinion this fish is most likely a CT which is still a nice fish but not as valuable as a ST.
And the huge Dat in my video is CT as well, who knows it may be Indo.
All I know is that when you ID a fish you have to go off the markings. Same for Pbass and other fish. If a pbass has different markings from a good known fish then it's not that fish right? It's a hybrid or some other fish.
I think we need to treat this in the same matter. Too many people saying "oh well, close enough, it has the second bars." We can't be lazy like this.

No first off you disrespectfully went onto the guy's thread and said that his fish was an indo...now,if you had said it might be a CT in the first place there wouldn't have been any conundrum..the link in post number seven puts all this nonsense to rest.It should be a sticky.

I said it's not an ST and maybe Indo.
That link that is posted has good info but that's just on guys opinion and even in the end he said there's no way to 100% guarantee like you Can with a true ST tail marking unless you do a DNA test which I have been saying this whole time!
It's this simple- if it has classic ST tail wrap and bars are symmetrical then it's a ST. All other different marking be it extra bars or different tail wraps or marking then all you're doing is guessing. So guess all you want and buy all you want from guessing. Point is that one should not label a fish for sale unless 100% known ID.

...or unless a vendor tells you what is lol.
The post has been deleted but you did say that it was an indo.

All I said is Mods should be more active on something like it. Make sure the seller adding more info to the ad if he is missing them. I know it's buyers responsible for knowing what to buy but most of them reply on others. If Mods can do that the place is more reliable n more people will more likely to come here.
Well its just my opinion.

And if I did then it still can be right? unless there's DNA proof we are both guessing. My main point is you have to go by known ST markings. This doesn't have them. So go ahead and pay top dollar on a guess. I won't. It's still a nice fish regardless but I wouldn't pay ST prices. Heck no

It's not top dollar,an example of top dollar is the dat that is listed by the Canadian seller or the ST that vendors sell for three stacks and better.People are trying to get four hundred bucks and more for a mere indo just because it has three bars so how much is a CT pulcher worth?
