Wich stafford terrier? The American Staffordshire terrier or the Staffordshire Bull terrier?

The bull terrier

i wouldn't say they are a 'hard' breed to look after but they do need repetitive training and obediance, not that you have to take them to a trainer as this is not always a good move,as long as you have some experience with dogs and you are the boss then you should be fine,do alot of reading on the subject and make sure they get plenty of exercise, mine used to do the 'A' frame, pull a cart etc, they do sometimes dash around the house at 100 miles an hour though, their coat is short so a quick rub down is all that is needed most times,as said before do alot of reading on dogs in general as well as bull breeds, bulldog breeds have more personality than any other breed of dog in my opinion and love to be part of the family

ok thanks:D

one thing to keep in mind with these dogs, more so than with other breeds, make SURE you assert yourself as being the leader and the one with power, otherwise these dogs will over-run you. most of the bully breeds make amazing pets, extremely friendly to your family, but extremely protective against strangers as well. IMO, a perfect balance between a family dog, and a watchdog. i just fear for whoever tries to hurt a staff or any bully-breeds family

i actually JUST adopted another staffi today, check her out :)

My brother has one and she's a great dog, just make sure it knows who's boss,no joke, extremly strong,go on youtube and watch the sled pulls they do,some do well over 1000 pounds without a problem, really playfull and can make great family dogs, need lots and lots of exercise

And now ohio is passing the no pitbull law =(
