I agree with this 100%. I prefer pvc and/or threaded connections over hose clamps but have used them in the past for years without any losses.

If you are going to use stainless steal one don't cheap out, get the more expensive ones as they genergally have a better build quality and made of better stainless steel.

Good advice, on the cheaper ones the band is stainless but the screw isn't.
