Stand or not for huge plywood tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That top window frame puts it at four and a half feet tall. There will be a 2x6 overlay around the whole tank. That will be where the cross braces will go. I’m thinking about putting in a total of 4, doubled up 2x8’s 74” long. Gonna notch them to fit over the top rails.

I have most of my post Hurricane Ian repairs just about caught up. I’ll be starting back up on this tank within the next week or two.
Hopefully I will be to the point of fiberglassing and waterproofing over Christmas break.

Looks amazing. Always wondered, do you guys have issues with humidity keeping a tank that large indoors? Will you be running a dehumidifier at all times?
