I found this suggestion by Alasse when they felt the tank might have a problem on a wood floor. Read in the sixth response.

Hi,

Thats not a bad idea, the stand is about an inch over 8x2ft so getting a single sheet of ply or similar to place underneath could be tricky but cant see a reason why 18" wide strips under the bottom rail where it meets an upright wouldn't do pretty much the same thing?
