Yes I'm very sure. I'm positive. You don't have to shank a snake to understand its anatomy.

I'm not saying you should ever let a snake kill you. The starter of this thread asked keepers of large constrictors to share their advice when it comes to staying safe in what could very easily be a life threatening situation.

Now, I, being an owner of a large snake that is very capable of killing me, am sharing my advice and experience. It's better to take the steps to avoid the situations you and hduece are describing. I'm trying to describe these steps to you, but you are insisting that rather than being trained and prepared to handle a constrictor, you should simply arm yourself with a sharp object and count your lucky stars?

That's ridiculous. And I hope you never put yourself in that position.

I think that anyone who owns an animal that has the ability to kill a human, if they value that animals life more than their own or someone elses, they are irresponsible and shouldnt be allowed to keep dangerous animals. Instead i would recommend they be forced into a pit with that animal to live for a month or 2 and given only water, by the end of a few months i guarantee one of you will be food.

Now you are putting words in my mouth. Never once did I say that all one needed was a knife. Nor did I question you when you offered info about the snake care and knowledge of it's signals. Why? Because I agreed with those statements, and had nothing more to add to them.

Well then if I was correct, and if you didn't say stabbing a snake would save your life, then why dear friend, are we arguing? -__-

As far as I recollect, Jessica has other snakes besides Balls, 116....

this argument has been stretched on and distorted because of your inability to accept that it is okay to act in self defense. I bet if a human being was trying to kill you you wouldnt have a problem acting violently against them. but taking violent action against an admittedly undomesticatable animal is unthinkable.

Did I say that was all she had? I just know she keeps ball pythons... Which are pythons nonetheless. Even though, they're small, they can still pack a punch. Point being, she should understand how dangerous pythons can get.

I am so picking up negative vibes....

Can someone please tell him to get on topic? Honestly, Duece, I'm ignoring you, this is my last post directed towards you. If you want to argue with me about this send a pm. I'm not about to get banned again for voicing my opinions. :)
