New tank has 2x1.5" standpipes. The guy I bought it from glued couplings into the bottom to make them 1".

Any ideas how much flow I'm losing?

Not sure the actual GPH impact but running one of those as full siphon and the other as open channel will keep up with quite a bit of flow. What size tank, pump and turnover are you trying to achieve?

300 gallon. I have 2 return pumps, one is 3962gph, 2640gph on the other. The goal is 10x turnover.

If you want flexibility and the ability to over filter you may consider swapping those out with 1.5” bulkheads and get a quality gate valve. Sounds like it will max out 1”.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks!
