ive read that article before. thanks!
Ok than, but dont forget that tortoises are very good at hidding hillness. It is kind of hard to beleave that it hasnt get something bad from the moist Singapore air. Im glad that you had find that care sheet before I did. What have you been feeding it and how do you keep him? Since this is a potencial sucess history I want to learn as much as possible:D

my sis normally feeds him one time a day.
and i feed him 2 times.
so three times.
but sometimes he'll walk up t us and follow s around begging for food. :screwy:
so i'll give him some.
i feed mainly lettuce.
sometimes carrots and cucumbers.
also give calcium pills grinded up in the food.
normally,he'll walk wherever he wants except the backard and toilets since those are where the chemicals are.

Your diet is a very poor one. Even if has worked untill now (much thanks to the calcium suplements) what your tortoise really needs is loots of dark leafy vegetebles, non toxic plants and hay. Could now just say a huge variety of food that you could use but Ill just say that you follow the instrucions in the care sheet. All the foods that you have been using are very high in oxalates, low in fiber, low in calcium and high in phosporus and your calcium suplements only make them a litle beter. Your diet is risking your tortoise´s life by exposing him to metabolic bone disease ,kidey falliore and parasite infestasions. Also your tortoise realy needs a enclosed space with heating lamps and UV lamps that we call a terrarium , so that he can termoregulate at its will. Remenbar This guys come from South Africa you can just let them roam your house and expect them to trive. I am now absolutley shure that something really bad is happenig with that tortose allready. Pneumonia is my best bet. Your tortoise is a walking time bomb. It is very important that you thake her for a vet sheck as soon as you can and for the second time read and obey the care sheet to keep your tortoise in top condicion. Some really expert guys with some great tecnology and advice have failled in keeping these turts. Your chances of sucess are decreassing by the minute. One year may seem a long time but some turts remain much longer fataly hill. Even if you have some unusualy hardy ones start by this and we will see. Good luck;)

thats the stupid problem.
my mum doesnt want a terrarium in the house. :screwy:
she thinks theres no space bla bla bla.
and this tortoise wont eat dark green veggies for some reason.
he tries them and spits them out.
i thought sunlight works as well as a UV lamp?

that sucks dude. but if it's totally impossible for you to provide properly for the tort though, i'd look for someone who can. just look out for the animal, cash is secondary.

thats the problem.
if i just give it away for free, anyone can just take him and not be able to take care of him.
if i make people pay for him, theres a better chance that theyll take care of thim well.
of course not 1.5k though. :D
