Understandable! Most of the cool games require a good quality computer. I think the game manufacturers don't always tell the whole truth about what is required either, and for that reason a lot of purchasers have a poor quality experience playing some games. My next laptop is going to have a quad core processor or better. I didn't even think there was anything better than quad core until recently looking at some of the high performance Macs! :WHOA:

haha yeah i know... i saw that. i was watching this yahoo commentary video on the game and they said that the developers designed the game to allow people with even basic computers to play. my laptop is only 8 months old or so and while i know that the specs are not the published system requirements i'm wondering what i can potentially 'get away with'

A marginal computer will give marginal results and would probably make for a frustrating game.

You can also change the graphic settings to LOW which translates to playing with moving circles and squares....lol

Critics, consumers clash over StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty

^ Hard to really judge it at this point. MANY changes still to come....

It's not just the playing experience that will suffer, but you will lag if your comp isn't fast enough, especially the video card.

yeah i remember laggers in warcraft... lol
maybe i'm too old to play... i just don't want to spend like $800 on a computer to play a $60 game... think i'm gonna have to bow out on this one. my days of gaming are over :)

The computer is actually very smart once you set the level to very hard or insane....lol
