Staring at my tanks

I value the power of my tanks. They are a powerful sedative when I let them calm me. They way the fish gracefully float is so soothing. My 55g is too aggressive and zippy but the 125g with the Oscar and Sunfish is mesmerizing.

I have been falling sleep staring at the new tank I just set up. Sometimes, on weekends when everyone's sleep I find myself watching that tank up til like 5am in the morning sometimes.

I usually do that every time I set up a new tank.

I definitely fall asleep if i watch my tank for a period of time. I consider that one of the rewarding things about fish tanks, they're so tranquil and relaxing.

i stare at my tanks everyday. I put the food in and jump on ma bed and watch em eat and fight for food

I keep a tank in my bedroom, just so I can watch them and take work off my mind before I fall asleep. Theraputic is an understatement. I love the monster tank, but I sit and stare at the reef! Sorry, King charles (my rtc)

Hahaha happens to me all the time! Once I woke up wrapped in a towel with a half eaten sloppy joe in my hand in front of my piranha tank!

It's Parachromis Loisellei (Loiselli Cichlid). I love em i currently have 2 females and 1 male. btw in my avatar its a male.
And ya its a cousin of jaguar cichlid just to let u know. The most agrresive fish i have ever owned
