Shame its gone, but not surprised they are supposed to be very aggressive. Still would like one in the future. :)

Ye I have been thinking about outing the filter but due to the tank being in the living room I have it like 1" from the wall and if I was to get an external filter would have to move it away from the wall a lot more to fit in all the pipe work, it's not the best filter but I keep on top of water changes to keep the water as clean as possible.

yeah that sucks I totally understand your situation don't worry. Just wanted to let you know that they aren't that good and I had problems with mine quite a lot. Now I'm just using powerful HOB filters til I can get a good sump system designed for my 225
