I love how tame he is, coming up and gently (for a catfish) taking food from your findertips. Just be careful once he's 4 feet, he doesn't take a couple fingers or you whole hand too :).

I can't wait till he's 4 feet so I can jump in wrestle with him LOL. All my friends think I am crazy for building the pond and expect me to start "noodling" like the hillbillies on TV

I'm building to those dimensions too and had it calculated at being just over 1000 of your US gallons (135cubic-feet.) How 'Rough' are those measurements?! is it maybe bigger than you think?

Unfortunatly i'm in work and it won't let me see the pictures. Sounds good though!
 
Looking at all theses ponds makes me want to put one outside here in AZ. I think it may be a great addition to my back yard. have that be part of my focus for the sitting area.
