start to my diy 480 gallon timber pond (not finished)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hello i am going to setup a 4'x4' pond and i was wondering where you got the timbers from and if i can get them in the size i need thanks a lot it looks azome!!!!!

i got them at lowes.
home depot and lumber yards also will have them.
fence post timbers "fence posts"
they are rounded on one end and flat on the other.
make sure there not like 4"x4",they cost.
these are from 2 to 3 bucks each.
4'x4' would be a nice one.
you would only have to cut the timbers in half.
lowes or depot "might" cut them for ya.
;)

Sweet stuff...I am excited to see the final product. Looks GREAT.

do u think 2*4 would work?
2'x4' pond? thats not that big if thats what you mean.

and instead of using plywood use styrofoam?
naa,i wouldnt try it.

he plans on using styrofoam on the inside, then a pond liner
timbers then plywood then styrofoam board then liner ;)

Just remember, keep doughnuts just incase the cops do show up, then shuck them into the wood, they will spend houres looking for the doughnuts... ohh yah, works every time.

i got pulled over and the cop asked me, sir do you know why i pulled you over and i replies

cuz you thought i had doughnuts...

he seemed urked and gave me a ticket fot tint too dark and loud exhaust, bolth bull...

keep it up man dot loose the drive...

i think he means 2 x 4's instead of the fence posts.
i would like to know also, as this seems cheaper, somehow.
