Started a new tank

Thought i would post this here as it will eventually house CA cichlids.

I had a new tank built a couple of days ago. Obviously from the photos it's not finished yet, i've just finished fitting the background.

Next job to do a bit of aquascaping, with some wood and rocks.

Tank dimensions are 8ft x 2ft x 4ft wide.

Your tank is twice as long as mine and the length of my tank is the same as the width of your tank, and your height is 3" more than me. ownage. let me guess, you are using a 55g for a sump?
