Been reading the forums for about 6 months now and finally decided it was time to actually register. As I've stated in the "Introduce Yourself" section I was planning on building a 96 x 30 x 36 tank w/ stand. Well during my construction I ended up making it a little bigger :naughty: . Not a whole lot , 96 x 36 x 36. Picked up the wood yesterday afternoon and got to it this morning. I didn't take pictures of the actual building process because there's tons of "How To" pics on here about the actual building. But here are some of the final framing of the stand.

looks nice:)
That's the same way I made the stand for my 300. It works very very well:D
Keep us updated, I'm sure we'll all be impressed.

It'll be plywood with 1 glass view window in the front. I'm guessing around 450g.

537g hmm....Well going by the 1- 4x4 is strong enough hold 55g of water which weighs appx 440 lbs? I have 11 uprights which should be able to hold 4840 lbs. I should still be ok with weight since 537g weighs roughly 4296 lbs. Leaves me with 544 for tank weight.

Forgot to toss these up too. This of my first little screw up and quick fix. Forgot I had a step that goes up into the kitchen there.

That looks really good so far, its definetly an inspiration. I want to build one for my house when I move next year, so take lots of pics :D
