837 gallon up for three years no bowing, 1/2 osb ply, 24" on center vertical supports, pond liner, in the elements. I think you'll be fine.

Finalllly another pond liner tank :) have u chose ur product for the window to liner seal? I used gold label aquarium and pond sealer and highly recommend it. Its pricey but worth every penny.

Actually I haven't. Does this product bond well on epdm liner/glass?

Great build. My only comment would be a concern about your vertical supports. With over 8,000 lbs of water weight you only have 13 vertical supports. Each would be bearing over 600lbs of pressure. I'm sure that post can take it for the short term but what about over 1 yr, 3 yrs, 10 years. That's a lot of weight to have those supports take for the long term. Also there seems to be long horizontal spans of unsupported weight. I think you would have a higher margin of safety with additional vertical supports. The weight would be more distributed.

Vertical supports? Are your taking about the base or the walls? If you mean the walls I have 17 on the back wall, and 8 on each side wall. And 8 on the front wall WITH 10 stacked 2x4s. I'm not sure where you got 13 from?

As for the horizontal spans on the base. I see where you're talking about in the pics that I posted, unfortunately I didn't take pics of when I added vertical supports on the base. But, I did add vertical supports in those horizontal spans. So thats taken cared of.

Please respond back as I'm unclear on the 13 vertical supports youre taking about. I'm not trying to argue, just trying to see what you're talking about so I can fix it. I'm not opposed to over building :)

Yes, I meant in the stand not the tank. I think the supports on the tank are fine.

In the early pictures it didn't look like there were many supports under the stand. I think you're fine now.

Ya I didn't take any pics of when I added those vertical supports in the horizontal joists. But as you can see now, it's added :)

This seems to be coming along really quick.

I've considered this option but never understood how you fold one piece of liner square into all the corners? If you get chance to explain how you will do it i'd appreciate it.

I've been building this over the past 2 months. Not that fast lol. But I do plan on having this thing running by the end of the year. Hopefully sooner

As far as the folds go, ima play it by ear. Some people actually cut and reseal the liner with seaming tape to get it real smooth. I'm not doing that, I don't want to possibly ruin the integrity of the liner.
