theres a starter salt water tank with a 20 gallon tank some salt mix stuff to make the water salty a light, filter, and a heater. It cost 150$ do u think i should buy or not.

if you have no knowledge of saltwater tanks no i wouldnt learn and research saltwater before jumping right in there a lot more to it then freshwater tanks i just recommended saltwater for dummies to someone else check it out good book for noobs.
also when buying equipment try to research each item and buy whats best usally package deals are not what they're cracked up to be..

That's too much money to start, I think. For a 20? Take your time, break down the prices for each component and like fishnutham said do your research. It makes the whole project a lot more fun and productive.
Keep posting :)

My favorite book: The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: A Commonsense Handbook for Successful Saltwater Hobbyists by Robert M. Fenner

great book i love it also recomend The New Marine Aquarium by Michael S. Paletta

Hey morrow if your interested i wrote a paper on starting a marine tank and establishing its systems. Its only about six pages, but it outlines the major topics and gives you basic knowledge you need to know. If you have any desire for it, just reply back. I'll Pm it to you. All I ask is you dont copy it or take credit for it ;).
