Usually when the Scats eat the Java they die. Your scats ate the Java and didn't die?

Never heard of scat dying from java ?? but usually salt water plants will actually do better then fresh if you are on the higher end of the salt levels strong light very clean water and additives if you use mangroves this is just my exp.

I would like to know if I could keep Monos, Scats, Archer fish and Dragon Gobies in a single 150 gallon tank ? I was thinking if I kept the salt at 1.015 it might be close enough for them all . I am picking up a 150 gallon tank tomorrow that needs resealed. I am also debating on resealing it or taking it apart and using the glass in a larger build . The front and back glass is 48" X 30". Would it help if I turned it into an 102" X 30" X 30". I have plans to build a room around this aquarium in my basement, whatever size it is.

Forget monos, they live in schools & a 300g would be the minimum to support a school of adults.
