I've got a 125 gal and it housing some bluegills and a largemouth bass right now. I want to get rid of those and start a MF tank. What would be the best bet for starting with. I want to add a bunch of small fish at once so they can all grow up together. I'm afraid if i ad one at a time. the smaller ones will get eaten. I was thinking about a TSN, arrowana, and some peacock bass. What do all of you think ?

no arowanna they need atleast 220gals umm no peacock bass i think they need more room(not sure but i believe they do..) Oh i dont mean to hurt ur thghts but just tellin u wht will live in there and wht wont srry again. U cld do some oscars, birchirs, pictus catfish, spine eels wld work(like peacock eel fire eel(these r freshwater eels too)) there are alot of possibilities with that tank just the few u named will get too big i think. But i never kept them so i may be wrong. But i knw the arowana will need atleast 200+gals. Srry if i hurt ur feelings but u did come to the rite place for stockin tips! im sure fish keepers with more experience then me will help u out tho! i named a few possibilities

I am sure you would not be the first to have a 125 stocked with those fish. Personally I would not put a single one of those fish in a 125 yet alone all of them together.

Tsn, aro, and p bass will all outgrow a 125. That tank could last approx. A year maybe a bit longer before you'd have to upgrade to an 8' tank for the aro and p bass and larger for the tsn.

But u did the best thing u cld by comin here before u did stock the tank and askin for help we will get u on the rite track tho!

yup....Year to year and half.....Then again----->I know many,MANY 6ft 125's that contain arowana from small to 3ft sizes.....No deformations,no drop eye within the majority...As for the catfish, a pond.....or at least 6ftx2.5ft tank.....Ooooo, the pbass......Same remark as the arowana, I have seen many(well probably a dozen) private 125's with pbass growouts that lasted over two years....No deformation in any of the fish.....

There r very few tanks like that too!

They may not show deformations but a 3' fish is not gonna be happy in a 6' x 18" tank. Like I said, I could work for a while but not forever.

Go for oscars and other large cichlids, maybe some bichirs... a tire track eel, silver dollars, etc. your possibilities are very great.
