Starting a new poly tank what color of sand

I have had, tan, black and now using black and red.

I like black and red the best as it allows more of a contrast between the fish and substrate than the black and my lower jaws seem to have better patterns.

Tan will just wash out all there colors.

EDIT* I use about a 70/30 black/red.

Go 90-10 or 80-20 on black. For the red go for red garnet sand.
