Do they only eat feeders? It’ll work. Would stick red tail payaras instead of scomberoides or armatus due to tank size.

No. In the begging it will and you’ll have to break them off of live foods.Do they only eat feeders?
Should I include a smaller species for a small school? No. In the begging it will and you’ll have to break them off of live foods.
Like a group of red tails u mean? If so then yes. Group mentality will work over with difficult fish.Should I include a smaller species for a small school?
Then don’t offer advise like keeping an alligator gar in a 300g. Don’t recommend anything until you know. I know you signed up like 5mins ago but please don’t go and start spamming crap information to people, it’s kinda like a thing here....Oh I have a lot to learn .-.
If I’m using a 250 or 300 gallon tank, what dimension is best?Rather than providing the common name, use the scientific name of what you are talking about.
The bigger the better, not u viktor, if ur plan is to keep large predatory fish. Keep in mind a 300g won’t be sufficient for all predatory fish.If I’m using a 250 or 300 gallon tank, what dimension is best?

Very true. Can’t forget this. Its not all about the gallons. Its mostly about the footprint IMHO. Lets say for an exaple 100x100x54cm is better then 150x60x60cm but still the same amount of water.
