I HATE MY TRIGGER! Nice to watch, but not for me. Anyone want him? He's hanging out in the sump lol.

I also agree with the hardy thing. I was always told that sw fish are EXTREMELY hard to keep alive. I've had great success with all of mine. Except when I put the trigger in a tank with a Tiger watchman goby....

How can you not like your trigger !?

Well unless you got the "uncool" ones.

The only ones i really enjoy would have to be the following,

Queen

Undulated

Blueline

Hiawiian black

Rectangulis

Gold heart

Titan

Clown

crosshatch

and i think that covers all my triggers lol

They are awsome cause theya re all the most Bad A ones.

Every eel will outgrow the tank. The only eel that wouldnt would be like a garden eel , which would be really cool if you could find one. A smaller species of scorpion fish would be really cool , they are aggressive , poisenous, and can be hand fed. Predators too

OK. i didnt research eels yet. but i have now.

I started out with a ten gallon years ago it was really successfull because I took my time and was a freak about water changes keep that in mind especially with the types of fish your getting some will croak if you forget to do a water change once!! I have had fw too but I had way to many issues from diseases, algae, to just fish plain dying so stick with us sw guys and we will never swim ya wrong!!

LOL.. thats funny because i already own that book. my dad got it for me on x-mas. Thats the reason i wanted to get a SW tank.

that's great to hear this book is a perfect outline for you on starting your first tank as it has proved itself time and again and as a 15+ year saltwater hobbyist I find myself reading it once a year as it is perfect in helping me with new aquarist.
