Favrus.. max our at 2' but more commonly 18"... the smaller "tire track" distingusted by the pattern not fading out at the belly ( armatus the pale bellied tt gets as big as fire eels) . Otherwise any of the African lake spineys should do fine w/ your synos. elipsifer, and plagosi ( my spelling is probably off, but you should be able to google both fairly easy) But you choice in rope fish ( btw a species of bichir) Should work very well too. ime not as "active" as spineys but if your good with that, that's all that matters. the ropes are also out more.. spineys can be very reclusive until they settle in ( which could take monthes)
