Just got a new tank, and I have decided to make it saltwater. But i want to make it an all eel tank. With maybe one or two non eel fish. What do you guys think about this. Plans for this tank are as follows. It is a standard 125(72x18x25) with an 80 gal sump wet/dry. I plan on it housing three or more eels and maybe two top swimming predatory fish (lionfish, clown trigger, harelquin tusk, small-medium grouper etc)
Anyway I want it to be a semi planted tank, with some algea on all the liverock and some seaweed or other marine plants around the back of the tank.
Inhabitants I am predicting would be.
1x Zebra Moray Eel
1x Tessalata Eel
1x Japanese dragon
1x Miniatus grouper
1x Clown trigger
This is what i am planning so far, now i am new to owning saltwater myself. but have been around it and know the bioload and the care level of these fish and salt in general. And this tank is only a grow out anyway.
But i'd love to hear from you 'experts' and see how this would all work out or if it wouldn't..
