Odor is tough. The fish keeper doesn't like it, but the fish does. Odor also means it's fresh, if it's supposedly filled with fish but has no fish smell, that's a little fishy
Exactly. I always get a kick out of people who complain about how a fish food smells, as though somehow a food that is supposed to be mostly derived from aquatic animals (fish, krill, shrimp, etc) should NOT stink. lol
Freeze dried krill is readily available, but most hobbyists only utilize these types of FD specialty foods as a treat. Shrimp, tilapia etc can be sourced by anyone, for relatively low cost, and fed fresh with full water content which makes it more palatable for fish.
You better have a better concept than what I'm reading thus far or you will be swallowed whole, and this is coming from someone that spent a decade working in the fish food industry. The fish food biz is almost super saturated as it is, so you better come up with something unique and exciting or save your money and invest in something wiser. Just my 2 cents ....
