So, I have a 75 gallon tank in my office at work and up until Saturday it was a SA Cichlid tank. But, I've recently been doing some fishing at a lake near where I live and have been pulling up some absolutely stunning sunfish. So, I put my cichlids on Craigslist and got a buyer on Saturday. I put some pellet food in the tank just to keep it seeded and have been anxiously awaiting an opportunity to go fishing and put some sunfish in my tank. I went yesterday morning before work and all I caught was bass which was really frustrating. So, today was my day off and I went this morning. I caught 13 bass before I pulled in my first and only sunfish for the day. I got him back to my office and he's acclimating right now. I'll try and get some pics as soon as I get him in the tank. Here's a couple pics of the tank and the fish in the bucket. IMG_0667.JPGIMG_0668.JPG

Alright, I just put him in there. I was only able to get one good shot with the lights on before he flipped out. I'm just going to leave him be for the rest of the day and turn the lights back on tomorrow and see how he's doing. Looks like your typical bluegill. Am I right? IMG_0670.JPG

Got me some more today! I was out fishing for ten minutes and caught 6 fish. I love private lakes with rich people living around them. They stock them telling themselves that they will fish in it since they have lakefront property now. Then they realize that they might get dirty fishing and never go back. Time passes no one fishes and the lake becomes full of fat hungry fish. I make friends with a few and gain unlimited access to easy fishing. I caught a bluegill and a crappie in the first two casts threw both back. Then I caught two BEAUTIFUL green sunfish and kept them. One small bass, immediately returned to the water and then finally one more green sunfish and my tank will have some new occupants.

I had also added some bait minnows to the tank to add some movement. They're just your typical bait shop minnows. Anyways, I think my tank is pretty full now. I may look for some more driftwood to add later but that's about it.
