Not really a low blow, it's completely logical, if you can not afford to keep and aro properly find something Else cool that you can keep. I'll admit, some of us aro keepers are quite well off financially but that's what allows us to have these setups, and even if your not save up first and then get the fish.

DO you even know why I called it a low blow? I've read some pretty stupid debates here at MFK caused by ignorant people making stupid comments. But I've never been involved and had to deal with any of this BS or the BS people that started these debates in the first place.

It is a low blow because I've already mentioned that I will be upgrading already... NOT saying that I'm not going to upgrade when my RTG becomes older. So Here it is and this is What I am saying... I AM and WILL eventually upgrade but I dont need to now becuase my RTG can still live in my 75g being the size that my RTG is... I also mentioned that I regret buying the 75g and should of got a bigger tank in the first place but again I WILLl eventually upgrade when the time comes. So F**K off on telling me taht I need to move my RTG to a 200g tank RIGHT NOW. Cause I dont need too as a 75g will still suffice for the time being. So Let it go...
And to Reply to the end part of you comment about you being soo financially well off.... DO I CARE if you are well off?? Why even mention that in the first place? Do you brag how financially rich you are outside of MFK as well?? So does that mean people who are not as well off financially as you are not allowed to own Aro's? Also whats the problem with saving for a bigger tank? When my RTG is perfectly fine right now for the time being?

Please read both threads again which has to do with this conversation to make polite helpful posts and not just cause you have a chance to post for the sake of making sure everyone knows that YOU.... are well off financially. *Pat on back* Good for you! :)

However, I undestand that English isn't everyones 1st language for a lot of people here on these forums so If your above comment was just a bad choice of words and context then I understand and take that you only meant well for the idea of a healthy RTG. And again I agree like my above past posts saying that I will eventually upgrade.

And once again EVERYONE my RTG is NOT Staying in a 75g perminently... so lets all relax.

You are about 70-90 gallons off, a 6x3x2 is about 270 gallons, and like the others said, a 125 is only good for an aro under 24 inches. A 6x2x2 is the absolute minimum fo an adult aro (though many say that a 240-300 gallon is required).

Yes your right. 72 long is 270g.

Cliff you should keep your own advice in mind then. Next time you're looking for a house, might as well head to home depot and get yourself one of those garden sheds. It'll save you thousands of dollars. Like you said, its not like you NEED the extra space in the house. Im sure you wont DIE from the shed.

Hello, Gshock!

Nice of you to join us here. Did you send anyone to Lucky's lately?

Please read my above post replying to aid's comment. Esspecially the last sentence of the post.

Actually, I sent quite a few people. What about that last post? LOL. The fact that you now regret getting the 75 gallon and that you're going to upgrade in the future? Or are you talking about the fact that you like to whine like a little baby when you find out you're wrong? Considering you assume its okay to keep aros in the smallest tank possible as long as it can still turn shows how much logic you lack. 125 gallons more than fine for an aro? I really dont think so. You should probably read the thread again properly before referring someone else to do so LOL. Not once do I see someone telling you to move your rtg to a bigger tank at the moment. Everyone's referring to your idiotic ideal where you assume you can keep a 24" aro in a tank 20" tank. BTW your tank is not 75 gallons, 75 gallons is 48" x 18" x 21". I dont ever see aidenb boast about his financial condition or even mention himself as part of these "financially advantaged" people. Choice of words ay? Hmmm...F off...nice choice of words. No?

JUST SAYING...

Ya know Cliff, if anyone needs to relax it is you. Telling people to F, off is really uncalled for. You've said quite a few things and the two below are what my replies are based on. You are giving the wrong impression to the OP.

haha... I think MY RTG is fine till 20 or 22 if I really push it 23 to 24 but I'm going to stretch it out until then.

This is a bad plan, I adopted a silver aro that was raised to 21-22" in a 4 foot 90g tank. Poor thing was deformed and didn't even swim, it was pathetic. You are planning the same for your aro. I try to give you some advice regarding an aro in a 4 foot tank and you shoot it down and try to justify what you believe.

Yah I think your tank will be more than fine =) Dont forget to post pictures once its all up and running.:headbang2
Why are you misleading the OP telling him that a silver aro will be more then fine in his 125g tank, nothing but bad advice presented on your part.

You can keep your aro in whatever you want, but do everyone a favor and keep your misinformation to yourself.

wow!...i must have been sleeping...125gal for a silver....the most shocking is there is support for it....temp yes, but not for long...only got a few months if your aros grow like mine do...as for all this well off bull...i am not working and i have all the fish i have...funny thing...all my fish are better taken care of the most of the "rich" guys fish

No I accept the advice and I too agree I shoulda went with the bigger tank to begin but whats done is that I already purchased the tank i have so I'm going to let the RTG grow a little first and then transfer to a larger tank. I agreed with my tank being small in previous posts.

If I were you, I'd just stop arguing at this point, arguements like this tend to go on and on until either the thread is closed or all the "derailing" comments are deleted (I know because I have been in a few arguements like this).

Standard 125g Dimensions

125g, 72 x 18 x 22 This will house the aro for sometime Also OP knows that this tank isn't a good permanent tank mentioned in his first post.
OP: "So here I am with an empty 125 gal 6ft long tank. I know the tank is not large enough for a full grown aero..."

And with OP knowing that already when I mentioned 'tank' it was meant for the filtration discussion. 2 Aquaclear 110's is more than fine.
