I will be starting a tank for a SOLO fish. I want to keep a male and want him to have a decent size nuchal hump. I was thinking Trimac or Red devil but im open to other kinds of fish! Also Interested in fish that have some good color to them but it would only be an added bonus. Anyone have any suggestions?

just to let you know or you might already know this but red devils are mostly midas/red devil hybrids and trimacs are mostly low grade flowerhorns (the ones sold at a local fish/pet store that is)
Havent bought the tank yet but i have some money laying around so im going to be end up buying a tank, nothing bigger than a 75g. Whatever i do end up buying will definitly not be from LFS though i will have it shipped here through Dan or Rapps or someone of the sort. Whatever i do end up getting will only go in after the tank has been setup/ cycled etc. Any suggestions? =)
I suggest you get the tank up and running before asking your question, most people on this forum would agree that size of the tank is a very limiting factor when choosing a monster. so again pick your tank set it up without fish for a few weeks and then ask. then maybe someone will be able to suggest the right specimen for you
