I will post pictures in a bit. i plan on using 4 8 inch sement blocks for the legs and particle baord in between the tank and cement.
This will be the new tank for my 9" black Mali Uro :nilly:SPYKE.:nilly: he is a spoiled turd.:headbang2

here is the bottom of the stand. It is pretty bad spray painting job but hey whatever i didnt have any stencils. and the name is my lizard that is going in there.:headbang2

I used concrete blockes for this, I kinda like the idea of the tank being low and being sopported by blocks.

this is a crack on the tank, lol i was playing with my bow staff(peice of metal that detaches in the middle) and it split in half breaking my old fish tank. So i decided that i would make this sucker

This is my brocken yet still beautiful 210 that is going up there. freakin thing weighs 375 pounds alone, and my dad is out of town so I am going to need my unreliable roomate:nilly: and freinds to help me out.

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice as to how i can seal these holes from the overflow. what might you guys have in mind for sand and how to deal with the crack in the front?
Thank you for looking and any responses would be awsome.:D

i would get a small piece of plexi glass and silicone it over the holes. that or buy small bulk head plugs, i think that will make it uneven on the bottom tho. sand i would go w/ some black tahitian moon sand. are you gettin the ornate uromastyx??? get a blue and a lime green one!!! the crack on the front i would just get some silicone and try to force it into the cracks and fill it in on from and back as best you can. i don't think you have much to worry about, it isn't going to be holding water anymore, you should be golden, i used a cracked 55g for my leopard gecko setup a couple years ago. works great. i made my own screen top w/ openings for feeding and made it sturdy enough i could just set the heat lamps on top of the screen rather than hang them,

thank you man. I will do just that. in fact i recently acquired some silisone. I like the idea of black sand. and my current uro is a male nali, so i might get two females for him. i think morrocans are closely related to the malis. Does anybody agree with this?

lol way to make use of a cracked tank. i have a 3ft long 2 ft wide 3 foot high tank that cracked down the middle while filled with water.. i wonder if i can press the glass together and silicone it..use it for a reptile..hmmm... well i cant wait to see how u do the decor inside..any pics of the new home owner?

here is the guy that will inhabit the tank.....any experts on here know how many females i can pair up with him into a 210.:nilly:
