I would use tile with about a cm of playsand on top of that or millet as they can eat and live on that
 
what if i wanted a realistic looking desert with cheap subsrate. maybe Georgia soil would probably not be very adequate. but does anybody know of something?

try a mixture of playsand, topsoil, and sphagnum moss
 
hey is it alright if i mix paving sand, with play sand and other stuff that i would like to mix such as large rocks. i plan on scaping my lizards tank today so any responses would be great.

great stuff foam is well great I have made some pretty cool stuff with it and am working on one now
 
ok not the finished product but im expirimenting here so it will be another day until i finish this sucker. Still need to make some hiding holes in between some rocks i will stack together, and crap those big rocks are heavy as hell.

i would also like to ask what is the preferable flourecsent lighting for your bearded dragons and Uros.

Ok here is the finished product. Not entirely sure as to what I will do with the background but all seems to be going well. and the lighting system still needs a little organization but other than that Spyke has gone ape @#$# over his new tank and he seems to be having alot of fun.:nilly:
I will be ordering a female morrocan from deer fern farms so i will have updates for a while.:grinno:
