Starting over

Well I felt DrT's pain first hand this morning when I went to feed the boys in the grow out. PBB check, Teug no check. A quick search found the little noodle dried up behind the tank. I haven't yet figured out how he made it past the egg crate/poly combo but he did. (My second jumper in 16 years)

So it is now Teug 2.0, quick trip to the LFS with fingers crossed that they had a few left from the batch they brought in. Fortunately I was in luck (or really not considering the way the day started)

So my grow out of 2" to 4.25" is being reset starting back at 2". As I was snapping the picture of him next to the tape measure it was coincidence that my largest Bichir swam by letting me get a quick picture with the tape measure under him. So here we go my now smallest at 2" and largest at 22"

Sorry for the loss. That does suck! My guess would be it rocketed through the egg crate hole like a slippery missle. Teugs are skinny enough to fit. But congrats on the 2.0 pick up.

Thx, for the comments all. Not to diminish the loss but this was not as painful as some loses as the teug was new to me and able to be replaced.

I felt bad it happened and a good reminder against complacency

Sorry this happened man. Seems like 2017 has been really bad on polys lots of mini disasters almost on a weekly basis
