As some of you might have read, I am interested in starting a plant business, and I thought to myself today, Heck! Why not start here?
I am wondering if there would be much interest in a variety of plants - tropical and hardy, all different types. (I'm happy to fill orders as well, as I have a lot of contacts)

Maybe this could lead to my being a plant vendor here?

What does everyone think? (I would do shipping too.) I have had extensive experience doing this in the past, but paused while in school.

Are we talking aquatic or in-house or outdoor plants? Some examples would be nice probably.

Good idea. Good question.

These would be indoors, outdoors, tropicals and hardy plants. Not aquatic plants. Trees, shrubs, vines, flowering plants, tropical houseplants, and so on.

To give you an example, I often deal with baby, starter plants that are excellent in price, and size for starting out in a garden. (Why pay tons of money for a larger plant at a nursery, for instance.)

Ex: Buckeye Tree - foot tall or so, $10. One available.

Wisteria rooted cuttings - PINK variety - $5

Rose of Sharon tree/bush yearling babies 2-4 inches in height $5. The mother is lavender with wine interior flowered.

These are just 3 quick examples that are at immediate hand. If this idea flies, my inventory will very quickly be several pages long with rarer plants.

Also wanted to mention that the proceedings will be put towards startup costs to opening a storefront and getting my business off the ground.
